Teaching Artistry. Since I started teaching in 2013, I've facilitated both one-off workshops and long-term classes for students from preschool through graduate school. I've worked for a number of organizations in that time, including D and L Dance Center, CurtainUp Kids, Ballet Academy East, the Park Slope Armory YMCA, and The Leadership Program. In 2018, I was accepted into the Master of Arts in Applied Theatre program at the CUNY School of Professional Studies, which has helped me grow further as a teaching artist and develop my capacity to use performing arts as a tool to stimulate social change.

Education Program Management. Additionally, I have a number of years' experience in administrative roles for educational organizations. I joined the youth programs team at the 14th Street Y in the spring of 2023 as the Programs Manager for New Country Day Camp. In that role, I handle curriculum development and scheduling for programs that serve aproximately 600 campers each day throughout the summer season. I also hire, train, and manage a team of 14 teachers across multiple disciplines. One of my favorite parts of my position is collaborating with the New Country Pride Camp staff to provide specialized programming for LGBTQ+ young people, including the drag workshop featured in the video below!
